This model was built straight out of the box using Hobby Boss's F6F-3 Hellcat kit. As an entry-level product, it offers excellent plastic parts quality and great value for money (the only minor flaw is that the landing gear looks slightly distorted). For casual modelers, this kit is more than sufficient—though experienced builders can always enhance it with custom modifications for higher detail.
For colors, I used AV paints: Dark Sea Blue (70898), offwhite (70820), and Intermediate blue (70903). To add subtle surface mottling and highlights, I lightly mixed in a touch of off-white/beige.
