Golden hour is always good for great pictures.
They do the model justice. That is one dirty looking 'Streak.
👍🏻👍🏻

Great job on these jaws 👍 They seem to be even more creepy than the ones on Airfix' Spit Mk V I built some time ago 😄

nice outdoor-shots. I particularly like the weathering.
My F-84 is progressing nicely too. Very nice kit indeed. I just skipped to open up the arms compartment as is destroys the nice shape of the plane. Very good job of yours.

Good pics 👍
Do you like a hint for improvement?
The cam position is a bit high (or the model too low), compared to the nice shot of the real jet in your project picture. So if the "eye" is more lower, looking upwards to the cockpit, it would look more realistic.

Many thanks for your nice feedback! Much appreciated 😊 @Michael: you are absolutely right with your decision to close the hood - this is one thing I do regret a bit on my F-84 … @bughunter: sure and any hint is always highly appreciated!!! I would even more appreciate any criticism on the model 😜 and you are absolutely right - I wanted to have a lower angle, but I was not well prepared … I couldn't lower the camera more and I also didn't have anything with me to higher the base safely (better safe than sorry here 😜 ) with a lower angle I also could somehow compensate the small base … maybe next time. Here to learn and improve considering any feedback 🤘

Yes, I know it is a bit hard to align camera, model, horizon and viewing angel in those outdoor pictures. I fiddle also every time with these parameters and try to check photos of the original before. My setup with two tripods is more adjustable, but sometimes I need even to adjust the angle of the base to get a good picture with a realistic horizon in background.
You are absolute right - the safety of the model has priority! Once, on a sunny but windy day in November, a gust was so strong that the heavy model lifted one leg of the landing gear off the base - I feared a moment of shock - it flies off and I lose it!

It is and when you don't have anything on hand to support it's better to stay on the safe side. I will do another shooting when the weather is better and also try to be better prepared. I hope you didn't have a heart attack at this moment ...

Awesome build of a fantastic model! Really nice, especially the WiP-pictures (of your project threat) are impressive!
Very nice, I enjoy the pictures very much!

Wow, the new teaser is awesome - perfect 👍
The better viewing angle makes it realistic.

Thanks @bughunter! Considered your hints and was better prepared in the second shooting 🙂 but this was the last outdoor shooting ... it´s in the cabinet now and probably only leaving for a competition ... hahahaaaa

Many thanks to all! Really appreciate your nice comments 🤩 @bughunter: I doubt that … but probably we will see it one day 🤷♂️

Hi guys, the F-84F was build for the German Army 2025 group build hosted by some guys on instagram. Yesterday the last results were announced and to my very much surprise this little 1/72 scale build managed to make 1st place in Air category ... what a surprise 😁🙌
2 24 July, 09:07
I might have been to your surprise, but not to ours. 🙂
Congrats. Looking forward to meet again among the big planes.

Many thanks guys! I really appreciate it a lot! @Michael: I'm very excited for this event and seeing you again. This time we should have more time for coffee and beer 😝

@bughunter … you mentioned something about competition … now it's official … she won the air category in an online group build „German Army" … was pretty surprised about that with a 1/72 scale build 🏆

Let's see if I ever enter her in a real competition … these online ones don't tell the truth in my opinion 🤷♂️
