These kits are hopeless! I admit that I bought this model ONLY because I like "what if" modeling. But I already know that this will be one of my worst creations...
This model CANNOT BE IMPROVED without redoing EVERYTHING, not just individual elements of the model...

Looks really good so far, Maciej! Keep it up! (Some time ago I got RS models Messerschmitt Me 309 as a gift... I never finished it - finally it was thrown away - I had not enough patience and perseverance to complete it)

I do like those grey colors you used. Looks sharp. Seems you'll need to fix those decals though. Or is that weathering, hard to tell from the photo? Nothing a pin and some setting solution can't fix. Try not to give up. Bad kits make good model makers.

Literally grinding myself on and off through a RS Me 509 kit. You really need patience for those...

#skyhiker: The decals in this set are exceptionally "strange" – despite being applied to glossy paint and using decal fluids (I use Microscale), once applied, they could not be moved without tearing... On one side there are decals, on the other... a mask, because the decal tore :-|
Honestly, it's not a matter of "giving up" but of being discouraged by my work... The only thing that could save these decals now is repainting the entire model - to be honest, I don't feel like it 🙂 I'll try to finally mask these mistakes with weathering.

Some models are just like that. I have several that I have to finish but no longer enjoy working on. I keep telling myself I will not start another kit until I get at least one of the models on my shelf with a bad kit finished. I guess it's all about balance. At any rate I think you're doing well with this one. Hang in there.
