@Christoph, I'm using Mr. Hobby SMS01. The primer needs to be applied to an extremely smooth finish. When spraying the silver paint, use high air pressure, a high thinning ratio(1:3 - 1:4), and minimal paint output (just allowing a thin metallic film to adhere to the primer).

I looked up the Mr. Hobby Mirror Silver Lorraine used, it is like 30€ a jar oO. Is it officially not available outside Asia? Am I missing something?

Hi Alexander, the price in China is CNY 160 -180 (around 20€). List price from Mr Hobby official website is JPY 3,300, similar price. It should be officially available in Europe, I found it from Mr hobby Europe website: mrhobby-europe.com/p..color/mirror-silver/

Just a very thin layer of paint can achieve a mirror-like finish. So this bottle should last a long time.
