Nice clea building! Could you tell what is the purpose of that aluminium foil?

S B, the aluminum foil was used to protect the underlying plastic from the sprue goo I used so as the sniper pylon fits better to the fuselage. All Sniper pylons I have are either for the Eagle or the Viper so one had to be modified to fit.

I will sort the photos and add some comments too.

I found some time to start the fun phase. Preshading yesterday night, first pass on the lower surfaces today. I think it is ok. What do you think?

So, got the upper surfaces done today and I like the result. I think I got better in my painting skills. Colours used, Gunze H305 and H306.

Time for printing the decals I am missing, serials that is.

I did some panel line washing on the upper surfaces. Lower surfaces tomorrow.

I did the panel line wash on the lower surfaces and on to the next level, dirtying up the area under the engine. There will be a lot of soot there after I'm done (I hope).

Finally found some time to apply some soot under the engine. I think it looks ok. It will rest for some days and then I will prep her with some gloss varnish for the decals.

I have almost completed the decals. I am left with the tedious chore of putting the 6-7 decals on each of the AIM-9. The yellow and brown bands are a pain... Tons of Micro SOL to get them to conform around the body of the missile.

Thank you Cerberus21! I usually do the panel-lines before the water slides. Since I used Gunze acrylics, I went with the panel lines first, that I applied a coat of Gunze gloss varnish and then went with the decals. Had I used Humbrol enamels, I would have applied a coat of Gunze Gloss and then panel lines and probably the decals after that.
