thank you for comments!The checkered pattern seems to be blue on the actual machine (the finished product in the photo is painted in metallic blue)
It is difficult to understand because only monochrome photos remain.

I really like the Czech pattern on this jet. Have you seen any photos of the actual example? So far, I have been unable to locate any.

It's been a while since I built this kit, so I don't remember where I saw the photos, but I do remember that the first black and white photo in this Warthunder article (the one lined up on the apron) was the only photo I could find at the time. The instructions state that the actual aircraft was repainted after this, and that it was lost in an accident and no longer exists.
