Gotta follow this 😳 Sea King? Does Carson not only do S-61's (which at least have different engines)?

Album info

Do you know the company Carson Helicopters from Perkasie in Pennsylvania? Founded in 1958 by Franklin Carson, a pioneer in helicopter technology, the small family business has developed today as a major operator of a station for overhauling, modernization and repairs of all major helicopter models.

Particularly noteworthy is the fact that Carson operates several Seeking N models and uses them for transport / hauling purposes and firefighting tasks. In addition, the company has produced many of its own constructions, which are certified by the FAA, such as: composite blades for the main rotor and the tail rotor, fire extinguishing tank, glass cockpit, a rescue winch and in my eyes the most interesting feature ever: the shortening of the fuselage of the N variant!! The shortened variant is called Shortsky and is just as long as a standard Seeking.

The wide sponsons were replaced by the landing gear of an L variant and in connection with the hull shortening, the Shortsky is approx. a 1 ton lighter so that here is a powerful Skycrane. Under the fuselage is installed a external hook with a maximum capacity of 22,000 lbs.

The Mk.43 is ready but as the saying goes: after the Seaking is before the Seaking.🙂🙂
