My retirement gift.

Update: finished this finally! I spent a lot of time learning how to aztek, and the fear of that kept me from progressing for a long time. Renamed the ship from Amar to Putnam, in honour of my friend:

My friend, Eileen, a very well read person but not by any means a science-fiction fan asked me what I wanted for a retirement gift when I left teaching. I told her I wanted a K’t’inga class battle cruiser and light set. From that moment on, she has referred to the ship as “your katinga”. “Do you like your kaTING-ga?” “How is your kaTING-ga?!” And so on.
It’s lovely having a big sister.
