SAAB Gripen C Swedish Air Force

Re-release of Revell’s Gripen C kit. Really good build, ideally enjoyed putting this together, there’s good quality decals (I just wanted the SAF decals), good armament options out of the box and the undercarriage in particular goes together very well!

I bought some after market Meteor missions to go on the outer pylon

Issues:

The top colour is too blue for a real Gripen
Masking wasn’t brilliant on the camouflage and I messed up the cockpit masking
it probably needed a bit more filler
There’s a lot of joints in the fuselage in this kit due to the way it’s designed and some kit better than others
I forgot to colour the HUD a transparent green before putting the canopy on

Overall really pleased with the end results and looking forward to the Ukrainian’s getting these beasts in the coming years!
