Thanks, Robert. No idea about the double-decker flying boat, I'm afraid. I was just looking for a graphic for the project cover-photo, and came across this poster of Air France airliners throughout history, and cropped out the section showing pre-war airliners.

Robert, I did a little digging, and the double-decker flying boat is a Latécoère 521, a French aircraft from the 1930s. More info:
