'77 Mack Superliner

Leaving my comfort zone, I needed a truck to pull the auto transport trailer and found this Italeri kit, still easily available. The parts count is quite impressive, as well as all the chrome trim. Just with the chrome pieces, I had to make some compromises, especially for the heavy gas tanks and two exhaust pipes, I could have easily spent a couple of hours more to strip the plating and cover them with Bare Metal Foil after heavy sanding the seam lines and attachment points. The decals are quickly applied, but they didn't react to the decal softener, that means they don't really adapt to curves and seems. Anyway, finally completed the truck is perfect to pull the car transporter.
