I found a magical tool that can be used to capture the shape of the kit. I don’t know its name(contour gauge?) but it’s ...

"I made a gearbox" sounds so casual like there is nothing to it. Cherry on top, well done 👍

As previously mentioned the wood effect you've achieved is excellent!
The whole project is a winner, superb work

@Alexander Based on the price, it's not mirror silver but liquid gold 😮

Seriously cool, what a great idea for a diorama! Brings back memories of teenage life.

It's said the middle one is different from the two, will try to find some material to build them. Thank you Ben

Lorraine, I'm always amazed with your attention to details and the presentation of your subjects.

Am I the last person to know that Eduard's decals need to have the carrier film peeled off?😭😭😭
All comments (6) » 14 February, 06:05
I gave peeling the film a try, but decided to handle their decals in the traditional way. As long as there are no panel lines, esp. thicker ones, it worked for me. But if there are, the risk of peeling off the printed decal part rises, resulting in disappointment and color touch ups!

I know I come late to the discussion, but a fellow modeler in my usual forum has made some tests, thay can be peeled but you have to be very careful because the underlying surface must be super smooth. What's your experience on the matter?

Great photo report from your trip, it seems you had a great time 😉 I was visiting London back in September this year with my family, I managed to spare one day to visit the RAF Hendon museum and boy, it was worth it. It's a pity you couldn't visit he Hangar #5, you don't really have an opportunity to walk under the Vulcan and other huge bombers every day. I can share some photos if you want to add them to your collection.

Thank you godby and Andzrej. You made me start to plan for my next trip😂
