I need more research on this Division to complete this section. Some facts I have found:

Sturmgeschutz Battalion RFSS was on Corsica in September 1943 (possibly attached to the 90th Panzer Grenadiers).
A Kampfgruppe was in action at Anzio while the balance of division was in Hungary early 1944.
May 1944, entire Division was in Italy retreated from Rome area to Gothic Line.
Committed numerous war crimes conducting ant partisan operations in Northern Italy.
