1:32 Fly Hurricane IId - 5 Sqn SEAC, 1943, under repair

This is another entry in my long-running project to build an example and preferably a diorama depicting my Father's RAF service in WW2. He was trained as n Electrician and worked on many marks of Spitfire, Hurricane and Thunderbolt in his time with 81 Sqn in North Africa as part of Operation Torch and then with 5 Sqn in India and Burma to the end of the war. This is depicting the Hurricane IId's that 4 Sqn were equipped with for a while soon after my Dad joined them in December 1943.

The model has a scratch build internal framework and gear behind the pilot seat, with the removable panels open to allow it to be viewed.
