Old AFJROTC instructor I had in high school, a retirement gift. He was a crew chief in the USAF in the 70s till 1999. Retiring from active duty as a Chief Master Sergeant. Then went on to be an AFJROTC instructor from 1999-2025. While in the Air Force, in his career he spent a good chunk of his career assigned at Edwards AFB a part of the test program.
F-15C - (Kadena AFB 1999, 18th Wing, S/N 78-0541) - While in this aircraft was a favorite due to the aircraft's reliability and lack of maintenance issues.
F-4E - (Edwards AFB, 6512th Test Squadron, S/N 65-0713) - He personally painted the first nose art on this aircraft in the 70s; this was also the last aircraft Chuck Yeager flew while on active duty.
Under the F-4E is a scratch made RMK-19 Tow Target
While in he worked on the HEL-X tow target for the airborne laser lab program, so a scratch made an example. Article talking about it: twz.com/40832/case-c..orne-laser-test-work
F-111 - (Edwards AFB, S/N 66-0053) - Received a flight and went Mach 2 in this aircraft.
B-1A - (Edwards AFB, S/N 76-0174)
A-7 - (445th Flight Test Squadron, A-7D Corsair II, S/N 69-6191)
