A friend started working on a model but eventually got tired of it and managed to lose some parts, instructions, and decals too. He then asked me if I wanted to complete it.
Since decals were lost and his family is of Serbian nationality, I decided to make little turn here, it was decided to make an airplane that Yugoslav partisans had captured from the Germans (ex-NSGr. 10 EB+ER, WNr. 0406) after it landed at the wrong airport. The partisans, who had some defectors from the Croatian Air Force (which had been collaborating with the Third Reich), manned it and used the airplane against those who had intended to use it for air support.
The plane later became part of the air squadron of the 5th Corps of the NOVJ (Yugoslav People’s Army).
I finished the model, made stencils, painted the markings with an airbrush, printed the background, placed it in an old picture frame, and gave it back to my friend for his 20th birthday.
