Mikro Mir Kit and Battle Axe Kit

My first building report here 🙂

Colours used: Vallejo
71.056 Dark Grey: upper hull
71.067 Bright Brass: propellor
71.132 Aged White: turret interior
72.011 Gory Red: lower hull
77.725 Gold: nameplate

Special Details:
1) Railing added: aero-naut 9mm poles and 0.3 mm brass-wire
2) Front-flag added: Union marine flag 1861 printed on paper
3) Small magnets: on the turret base (round type); on the turret back-wall-opening (cubical), to be able to open and close it to see turret-interior
4) Turret roof and railing: roof made of 0.3 mm polystyrene-sheet; railing 0.4 mm brass-wire
5) Self-made model stand: beech-base with mahogany-wood-stain and clear-coat, 4 mm brass-rods
6) Nameplates: from Model Monkey LLC (“excellent service”)
7) I made a 2nd USS Monitor model: kit is from Battel Axe (not yet listed at scalemates-homepage)
