This is an Out-of-the-box build with no alterations to the kit. The only change is in the colour scheme which was being contested between the standard U-boat light grey scheme or an overall dark-tone scheme (inspired by a kit I used to have). The kit also provides an option to depict the U-boat firing her Tube 2

While marketed as a snap-fit kit, some parts can be rather tricky especially the fragile ones that cement have to be used to lubricate them into their appropriate positions. The protruding rivets along the hull is rather sharp that cotton swabs begin to unhair themselves during the weathering process, a portion of the project's time was spend to give the U-boat a Brazilian wax afterwards

This kit is also marks my first experiment with the more commonly used lycra riggings by INFINI Models, though the more rigid metal wire riggings by MASTER TOOLS is still used for the difficult to attach parts

The kit's stand was eventually replaced with a low profile 3D printed stand, with styling inspired by the DAS BOOT film with the kit's christened name of "Black Widow"
