Mil Mi-2, Hobbyboss 87241

The Mi-2 is a small Soviet-developed multirole helicopter, built in Poland. There already was a model of Mi-2 from Polish manufacturers for a long time when Hobbyboss released three versions of it, designed on quite high tech level. The model is very good, there are some simplifications over the real thing but in my opinion Hobbyboss did the best Hoplite model in 1:72 scale on market as of this moment (2025). I choose to make a civilian helicopter which is by one of my friends. I had to print my own decals which included only a tail number. Also this real Mi-2 has a special paintjob with different shades of blue over the body of the helicopter. Personally I like the result and among bright field of many smart color schemes of various small civilian rotorcraft this one is quite noticeable on the shelf.
