The ATs-40(130) (or AC-40, АЦ-40) is a typical soviet firetruck of 1970-s and to the fall of USSR. Many of these fire engines were in service in 2000s and some even in 2010s. It is based on one of the main soviet trucks, Zil-130, 3,5 mln of which were produced from 1962 to 1994, so the apperarance of this truck is well known to many people from Soviet and post-Soviet countries. Zil-130 and Zil-131 models line were a first try of AVD models in 1:72 scale and the models turned out very well. My ATs-40(130) was made out of the box and painted with spraycans.
