Mil Mi-1 Hare, Gran GRN-7207

I always loved Mi-1 and first model of this helicopter I had was a VEB Plasticart one in 1:100 scale. Mil Mi-1 is a helicopter from the 1950s and it was a time when designers were searching for the optimal forms for this type of aircraft, so many of helicopters of that period had a simple fuselage frame, like the Bell 47 or Alouette, or they looked very strange and were not particularly beautiful (although this is subjective, of course). In my opinion, the Mi-1 was very beautiful and harmonious compared to its counterparts. Now the kit from Gran is quite rare, and sometimes you can still find mi-1 from Amodel in stores and nd I don’t quite understand why such a nice helicopter is getting so little attention from major manufacturers. Anyway, I made my Hare out-of-the-box and brush painted it unusual for this type bright yellow color scheme of Soviet DOSAAF with red arrow.
