Aerospatiale Sa.316 Alouette III, Heller 80289

I always loved small civilian (and military) helicopters models and when I saw this quite rare model in local model shop back in 2012 I didn't think about buying it for long. There are no alternatives for Alouette III in 1:72 as far as I can tell, so Heller model is quite good and represents prototype well. Bright and noticeable paint scheme of the Secutite Civile also makes this model noticeable on the shelf. The helicopter itself looks like a big egg with rotor on top and looks a bit old near Eurocopters and Bell models, but it is a robust, reliable and powerful enough machine with its turboshaft engine. It is exposed to all curious views, by the way, and opens a space for handy authors for reworks and improvements. I made my Alouette with minor addings, brush painted.
