Mikoyan Mig-31B Foxhound, ICM 72151

The mighty Mig-31 is impressive in many points: size of the plane, its somewhat straight beauty, huge engines nozzles, interesting main wheels layout and of course characteristics. The Foxhound is the fastest operational aircraft in the world with a top speed around 3,000 kilometres per hour (1,900 mph). This model was a gift from my relative and one of the first models I painted with airbrush. It wouldn't be easy to paint the whole plane light gray with a brush, that's for sure. The model from ICM itself is quite good, it assembles well, no issues were found in process. The decals are enough for out-of-the-box build but there is a place for enthusiasts to work with (as always). Mig-31 looks great on the shelf being brutal, big and beautiful, so it is recommended to try ICM one for any modern jet 1:72 modeler.
