The Panavia Tornado is well known to all modern jet fighters fans and lovers, so I would tell about this particular model here. This issue of Tornado by Revell features special painting scheme dedicated to 150000 flight hours with Panavia Tornado in JaBoG 31 Boelcke (Luftwaffe fighter-bomber wing No.31). This scheme was named Black Thunder on Revell box (Hasegawa also did their Tornado in this scheme and also in 1:72). The first Black Thunder was a gift to me from my classmate in school but I failed to finish this model due to low skills and life circumstances. This model lied unfinished for some years and was dismantled to spare parts. After some time, I decided to get this particular Tornado at any cost in memory of our friendship with that classmate and Ebay gave this opportunity. This time Tornado IDS Black Thunder was accurately finished in black gloss color with all these details and I love how it looks, even if there are some issues. I liked the kit itself , Revell made Tornado very well as it features detailed pilots cabin, moveable wings and pylons, detailed landing gear and its wells. I can't tell anything about the armament because my kit included only two Sidewinder missiles and ECM and flares pods, due to anniversary paint scheme. Perhaps in other kits of combat Tornadoes from Revell you will find more varied weapons to fully load out your model.
