Mitsubishi T-2, Hasegawa 00334

The Mitsubishi T-2 is a japanese supersonic trainer airfcraft which also has a combat version, Mitsubishi F-1. This plane always reminds me european Sepecat Jaguar, some people said me that it shows some resemblance to F-4 Phantom. Due to the popularity of the F-4 in 1960s I believe its design influenced both Jaguar and Mitsubishi. T-2 and F-1 is very elegant plane, so it just should be placed near models of both mentioned aircraft on the combat planes shelf. This particular variant of Mitsubishi T-2 is also interesting because this aircraft 59-5106 was used as a testbed in development of Mitsubishi F-1 and ASM-1 japanese anti-ship missiles. Hasegawa gives this variant in the set and also gives decals for test samples of missiles (red and yellow colored) and a special part to cover the rear pilot seat, so you could make this experimental plane or serial trainers.
