BAC Lightining Fmk.6, DFI F266

The model of english legendary 1950s jet interceptor English Electric Lightning issued by Donetsk Toys Factory (DFI) in Soviet Union in late 1980s. Lightning molds were in were in a wide range of molds purchased by the USSR from british Frog company. The Lightning was in my father collection and I remembered it well due to the interesting arrangement of the engines and the overwing tanks (an unique feature in all the combat aviation). When I choose to make my model, I booght my example casted in dark brown colored plastic and without decals at all, so a decal set from the unknown 1990s post-soviet producer and they fit quite well. Now this model is quite old, the level of detail is up to 1960s standards, and my modeling skills were not great back then, but this Lightning continues to serve on the model shelf.
