CH-54A Skycrane, Revell 04471

An old Sikorsky Skycrane model from Revell which had its first issue back in 1969. My kit was a re-release of this classics in 2001, I bought it in 2008. The kit itself has issues like not correct cabin glazing or simplified engines, that are fully opened for viewer, but included a big "cargo pod" container (of wrong shape, variant of the pod included in the kit is a prototype variant) and even M101 105mm howitzer cannon, which can be a model on its own because of quite good level of details. Revell's S-64 was only one option for all who wanted to see this unusual machine on their shelves for many years until the appearance of totally new ICM kit in 1:35 scale. Now ICM claims to release their new Skycrane in 1:72 also and this can raise the question about replacement of my old one with their great model.
