Honda Accord JTCC - Castrol

Building OOB with replacement SK Decals. Kit has been partially started so had to strip some parts (Engine block, suspension, exhaust and spoiler) using Dettol.

- Primed with Tamiya Fine Surface primer (body) and Rust-oleum 2X primer spray can for all other sprues
- Painted with Tamiya TS14 & TS35 through airbrush
- Clear coated with Mr Hobby GX-100 Super clear
- Using Mr Hobby PS275 airbrush
- Interior painted with Tamiya and Mr Hobby acrylics
- Polished body with 6000, 8000 & 12000 micromesh pads and tamiya polishing compounds.

Typical Tamiya quality, everything went together as expected. The two-tone body took some time and masking but came up nicely. The black shows up all minor scratches and imperfections. The clear parts were heavily scratched so some scratches can still be seen after "clean up. The painting of the clear parts was frustrating as there were no window masks and "smoke" was required on half the windscreen.
Decals went on smoothly, some minor gaps and errors but happy with the outcome.
A great looking kit with the low stance and very pleased with the result.
