A U.S. Navy Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat (ex F6F-5N, BuNo 72933) from the Naval Air Test Center is testing an early version of the AAM-N-2 Sparrow I air-to-air missile at the Pacific Missile Test Center at Point Mugu, California (USA), in 1950.
