Thank you. Indeed, current Navy aircraft rarely get much wear and tear, so I didn't focus on the weathering. What interested me in this project was the torpedo's movement in particular. I must say the kit is exemplary. There's also the subject of the Boeing gray (MRP). If I were to do it again: I would make few changes to the kit, and I would look for an even thinner transparent tube or use very thin brass tubes instead. Using a fingertip to secure the torpedo parachute is a solution, but not the best. I will also look for more references on torpedo colors

Assembly in progress, it's a very nice kit, beautiful engravings no need to add aftermarket to have an excellent result, by working the assembly properly and with the right paints it looks very good.

I am sharing a book: "Set fire to the Third Reich" in French: " The Second World War was the true laboratory of what we call today "special forces". If all the belligerents set up commando, sabotage or guerrilla units, it was the British who created the largest number and often the most original. Indeed, Her Majesty's Army has always shown an innate talent for bringing together unorthodox soldiers in times of war within particular formations. This is what it did from the summer of 1940, facing Germany in Europe and North Africa, and in Japan, in Southeast Asia by creating more than thirty "special" units, dependent on the special services, the general staff or theater commanders, responsible for assisting resistance movements, strategic destruction raids or reconnaissance and difficult assaults in support of military operations. Their numbers were very variable: some units did not reach twenty men, others exceeded a thousand. Their modes of action were also very varied: foot, airborne, nautical, motorized, etc. However, all had a similar goal: to wage an unconventional war against the Axis forces in which all blows were allowed." The book covers all the units well, it is interesting for some photographs but also to better understand the mechanics

Thanks gents, @Mohammed Saad I first did some dry fit tests, then I cleaned and sanded the housing in the wing, and finally I sanded the inside of the light. I glued it with contacta clear in case I had to make up for any gaps. As you can see it looks like this and I could have sanded a little more, hope this would help.

Thank you very much gentlemen for your motivating comments, what I learnt : As usual, I have shifted the assembly steps of the canopies, the landing gear and the probe (B40 on the sprue) in the steps. If I had to redo it : steps 3 and 4 with the large panels, I would rework the alignment more, step 15 requires more control, the jacks (B43 and B44) are fragile and complicate handling, as for the rear wheel (D37 and D21), I ended up cutting and replacing with lead wire. The installation of the flaps (B13 and B14) is done with extreme precision. Finally, for the photos, I will redo them on a black background, the white crushes my effects on the dark green too much.

Thank you very much, a defect that is not too visible is that we do not distinguish enough the two shades of green of the "summer" camouflage under the white. The chipping has almost merged them, it is a bit of a shame.
