Royal Danish Air Force F-104 R-699

The Royal Danish Air Force (RDAF) operated the F-104 Starfighter from 1964 to 1986, initially using 25 F-104Gs and 4 TF-104Gs acquired through the U.S. Mutual Defense Assistance Program. They later supplemented their fleet with 22 surplus Canadian-built CF-104s (15 CF-104s and 7 CF-104Ds). The F-104s served in an all-weather interception role until being replaced by the F-16, with the last aircraft retired in 1986.
