Arrived Today! Nice Kit.
It should be listed under Movies/Sci-fi section NOT real aircraft!
Yes i know it was designed with help from Lockheed-Martin BUT it is still just a MOVIE PROP so should be listed as such.
The same debate happened when i listed The Blohm-Voss B.V.38 Flying Wing from Raiders of the Lost Ark kit. It was in fact built by Handley-Page U.K. at the aircraft factory BUT was NEVER a REAL aircraft only a movie prop!
Same goes for the F/A-37 Talon from the movie "Stealth"

It's not so good compared to plans and has a few other issues apparently 🙁

Note the boxart is the P-boat rather than the amphib. Only four (4) wartime XPBM-5A and 36 post-war amphibians built. Reviews indicate blanking plates for the seaplane are present. The saddle mounted wing and lack of any mainspar, particularly outboard bodes caution and indeed both buildups I ve seen exhibit anhedreal outboard. Something around the cockpit appears amiss in the models too. Weird "sub-variant" choice. The PBM is big in 1:72 . But its a Mariner, so with care, its welcome. Size and price don't lend this plane to multiple builds so it will be interesting to watch how Minicraft proceeds here with value and variations.

So much impressive work. I got a kick out of the Abrams rolling over the Iraqi FOXBAT. 💓 all the sci-fi builds.

Yea i didn't know that this was based on a real event during the Gulf War back in 91. There's real photos of this attached at the base of the dio.
I wonder if they added a kill mark to the Abrams?

Great good stuff there. I particularly liked the Martian tripod attacking Thunderchild. Splendid camo on the Uhu and Nick. And as Gorby noted, the tractor shop diorama was impressive in all it's small details.

Cheers Chilly, I think the tractors might be 1/35? scale the dio was about 350mm square. more photos to come soon!

Just arrived yesterday! Yay finally a 10x10 version. Now what the heck is this thing gonna drag along.... Maybe a M747 trailer from the M1014 kit. More versions to follow! Mmm would make a great recovery vehicle!

Mine will go with the Trumpeter MPQ-53 C-Band Tracking Radar, which is also sold separately and these both kits complete themselves perfectly 😉
