Another Fairlady in my collection. This time it's the 3rd generation S130 with the L28E engine.
An ancient 1981 set, originally motorized, re-released in 2022. There are many controversial solutions, such as an almost slotted hood with huge slits that had to be covered with plates under the wings. A lot of improvements on the motor, almost all the main hoses and wiring have been added. The expansion tank is deployed in approximately the correct position. The air ducts of the stove and the gills on the hood are cut through. I left the targa roof panels removable. I didn't put the guy from the set behind the wheel. Everything is assembled and painted according to the factory specification.


Materials used:

Base coat: Alcohol-based Gunze

Other paints: Alcohol-based Tamiya and Gunze

Topcoat: Gunze H30

Panel line wash: Gunze

Glue: Revell

Extra-thin cement: Tamiya

Tamiya Craft Bond adhesive
