Started the build yesterday and I can say the kit fits much better than expected. I heard bad things about the U.S. RF-4E Hasegawa kit but I am happy to report that up to now all goes together well. Maybe there is a difference between the JASDF kit and the U.S. Phantom?

Some more progress, all decals and stencils applied. Wingtip fixed to the correct early form. Next matt clear coat to prepare the model for some light weathering.
