Aoshima's GO-01 kit. I considered just buying the Tamashii Nations lighted version, but considering the price differences I'm adding this to my project queue instead. LOL
So, I find a good priced preorder on Amazon and wait several months. A few days before it is expected to ship the order completely disappears from my Orders list!?
The only notice was an email that simply stated: Due to lack of availability, we will not be able to obtain the following item... We apologize for the inconvenience.
What I believe Amazon did not want to tell me is, that due to the imposition of tariff uncertainty by the U.S. administration, many Japan manufacturers have decided to pause shipments to the U.S.
Oddly enough, a day later I find the kit is available for a few dollars more on the same Amazon page, but will be shipped from Amazon.jp.

Note on scale: The kit is listed as "no scale" however specifications list it as approximately 24 cm tall when completed. According to Kiryu's story, it is 60 meters tall, so 1:250.
