The assembly of the tail cone was straightforward, no problems here

General view of the model... is quirte big! 

The Upper part of the instrument panel of the kit is not very convincing 

 

 

 

I have removed the lid of the instrument panel that came with the kit and I have moulded a new one with miliput 

I also aded some devices and recreated the blanket that usually covers this part 

 

some wiring will make it more reallistic 

 

Checking that everything fits 

Once painted seems more convincing 

 

 

 

Slightly weathered 

 

 

 

 

 

I have also aded the ejection gases tube from the Gun 

I used a suitable brass tube trim to size 

 

 

 

For making the slats in down position, I decide to rework the back plane of the slat (painted in black) 

Then I carved a groove on this surface 

Sanded properly 

A strip of plasticard was added to the wing 

The Slat can sit on this wing extension 

 

 

 

Bad news... the canopy cracked by itself... I have asked hobby boss for a new one... fingers crossed
