AndreasK AuthorDecided to do a fictional "return to Africa" camo. So I sprayed the underside RLM78 and the upper side RLM79. Yet unsure if I should also apply some RLM80 scheme on top of it. Any ideas?

AndreasK AuthorEncouraged by Jan's proposal, I dared to try the camo scheme as seen on a very well known pic of the 109. Struggled a lot with spidering and airbrush trigger control and it cost me some nerves, but now I am ok with the result.

AlbertoThe final result is very good 👍. Were you mottling with Gunze acrylics? I also struggle with them, I find mottling easier with Tamiya for some reason

AndreasK AuthorYes, Gunze. But I made two "mistakes" that made the job more difficult than necessary. I already had a gloss clear coat on and I used MLT. Both facilitated the spidering. Normal or even fast drying thinner would have been probably better. Lesson learned 👍🏻
But I am glad you also like the result.
