Last american users, the marines corps replaces their Buffalos with Corsairs.
Well piloted the barrel could be effective. The Finns use it until the end of the war.
Very good work with discreet weathering.

Capt. William C. Humberd, VMF-221, Battle of Midway, June 4 1942

Capt. Humberd claimed one Kate and one Zero shot down during the defense of Midway island from Japanese air raid. Awarded Navy Cross for his actions.

Hasegawa kit with Eduard PE parts. The resin part needed to lengthen the fuselage to represent the F2A-3 variant was shrunk in my kit and required quite some surgery to make it fit to the plastic parts.
