Finnish Armor in WWII (The Continuation War)
1June 23, 2025Vickers 6-ton Tank Model B, with Soviet 45mm gun, Finland,1941, (Mirage Kit). Finland purchased 34 Vickers 6-Ton tanks in the late 1930's. These were all Model B turret offset left. Originally armed with a 3-pounder (47mm) gun with poor armor penetration and after the 1939-40 Soviet Finnish Winter War Vickers 6-Tonners were refitted with captured Soviet 45mm guns. My research on various forums claims these were used as training vehicles only from 1941-1944.
