This is the starting point. Poor kit is receiving a shimmery pink thick coat from my daughter 🙂
Mulitiply handicapped kit. Poor mold quality, lack of details, now covered with a rock-solid mica paint.
After completion. All the surface details were sanded off then rescribed. Flaps were cut-off by a saw blade. For the natural aluminum effect I used AK and True Earth paints.
Roundels are from the kit, tail markings (red-white-green stripes) are painted.
Not the best kit I ever had, but bear in mind: original mould was released somewher in the 1970's...
This kit I purchased around 2014 and paid 600HUF (that time it was around 2€)
Ancient Kovozavody Prostejov kit, purchased when KP models sold their mold tools back to a czech owner. Kit is representing mold quality of the 1970s...
At least it was dirt cheap, less than 2€.
Kit surface is sanded down, all raised details were eliminated. Wing flaps were cut off and assembled in a park position.
All details are rescribed, riveting excluded (sorry, no patience anymore...)
Paints used : Alclad airframe alumina, AK dark alumina, True-Earth Dural.
Decals straight from the kit.
Hungarian tricolors are from Vallejo paints.
Red : RLM rot
White : fundation white
Green : mix of two shades
