The Canadair Mk.3 was the first test-airframe to use an Orenda engine. There wasn`t a lot of external differences, and those would be hard to notice in 1/72 anyway...
Markings are pretty simple, so I am going to try to make my own. Just trying to figure out the correct size and font.

I usually use Klear on the canopy, but I picked up some Deluxe `Looks Like Glass` from Telford a couple years ago.
Seems a little thick but the instructions say you can dilute it with water.
Dipped the canopy, and set up on paper towel to absorb the excess. Let dry for 24 hours. I think it came out pretty good.
Have some Kit Masx on order, hopefully be here next week so I can start masking, then spraying the AK Aluminum.

Canadair built one Sabre Mk.3, Serial No. 19200, to serve as a testbed for the Avro Canada Orenda 3 turbojet engine. A variety of structural modifications were required to accommodate the larger engine.
