Album info
The A-4 Skyhawk, operated by the Argentine air force, played a significant role in the 1982 Falklands War, particularly in attacks against British naval vessels. Despite its age and shortcomings like a lack of electronic countermeasures, the Skyhawk caused considerable damage to the task force, with one attack on May 25, 1982, resulting in the sinking of the HMS Coventry. However, the high cost of these missions was evident, as Argentina lost many of its Skyhawks during the conflict.
