Hi and welcome J35J, Cuajete and Moreno Y)
@Cuajete It is an older Short run without location pins or slots but the fit is ok and i needed only few softened Plastic sprue to fill some minor gaps.
And i think this is a very clean and beautiful design. The surface details are very crisp and neatly done.

One of the nicest fighter ever, if not the nicest ! This kit should be easier to build than the Pavla one, i hope so for you !

Thank you all for your interest and nice comments. Very much appreciated. I have to rework the canopy becaus i was not aware that the Mask for the RS Kit does not really fit with the Sword parts.
@skyhiker the fir was quite good for an elder short run kit. That is my ecperience with Sword in general. They are mostly nicely done.

Ciao Daniel, really a great result with the camo! What happened to the decals: the "Sagittario" on the tail and the code number seem a bit incomplete...
1 24 November, 20:42
Well noticed Moreno, They vanished resp crumbled during applying the Flat clear coat. The sagittario is missing one "I" and the red 2 lost a one bow.

It's clearly the day for "Decal Disasters"!!! My Kfir suffered a decal failure. An orange outline arrow that will have to be replaced with some great difficulty...

A bit of selective weathering and those broken decals can become a highlight feature. Numbers often wore off during the war.

I have both Sky decals and Tauro decals, if needed let me know!

Daniel, I currently have all my kits stored in a warehouse, but I'm confident that in a few months I can retrieve them to see if I can help you if you still need them.

very nice Daniel! especially the color variations on the upper wings - nice work! My only criticism would be the gun troughs on the upper cowling - with a bit of drilling you could have given them some more depth at the backside end. Nonetheless your result is a very beautiful representation of a very elegant piston engined fighter

Drill BAby Drill:
At first thank you all mates for the nice comments, hints and offers for the decals. They were really not that good as it shows. They are crumbling apart. So I will tryto rescue this with selected weathering as suggested and some handpainting.
The sky decals should be a much better choice if this doesn't work for me.
The pics aren't very authentic because the green is much darker for real. I will do better ones when the plane is finished.

Wait… I didn't know the Japanese Imperial Army flew the Re 2005…? But, it's one of Daniel's projects… so I guess it must be… 😉

What a fabulous dio, definitely Mediterranean 👍 (I had to check the damn spelling 😄)

Nice diorama !
Thanks !
The green is matching exactly RLM70, very dark, same FS reference.

I have a Macchi 202 Folgore in my stash and I'm struggling to get over how similar the two are.

Hi Mr D, here you can find more info about Officine Reggiane planes (use automatic translator to get info in English):

Ps the paints used were Italian, so the colour is "verde oliva scuro" , actually close to RLM70 😉
