Meiner ist noch unterwegs. Saubere Arbeit so weit, freue mich auf deine Lackierung.
Vielen Dank @V1kt0R !
How did you do the dust/mud effect on the leopard? It looks very realistic
For Dust and mud effects I used a dark mud wash and Europe earth pigments both AK

New project on the bench now and I am excited to build this one! Revell recently released this Exclusive edition of the Leopard 2 A6M A2.
Also watch my Instagram @ben_scale_arts for more detailed info about my build progress.
It comes in a very attractive package and in addition to the plastic sprues it includes all the necessary paints plus (only) one standard brush to paint the model.
The real highlight in this box is the nice book that makes this exclusive edition so special in my opinion. Among other things it describes the fascinating history of the Leopard main battle tank and contains many high-resolution photos of the original tank. I believe they will be very helpful as reference photos during construction and for the final weathering, allowing me to build a cool model of still one of the world's best main battle tank.
The kit itself is based on molds from 2012, plus a few additional parts added in recent years for the further developed variants of the Leo 2 A6. It's therefore not a new tool kit, but rather a reissue of a kit that remains good to this day, plus the aforementioned add-ons like the paints and the book.
As you can see in the photos, this is probably why it still has rubber tracks instead of the more modern individual link tracks, and there are also no clear parts for the optics and lights included in this kit… I find that a bit disappointing, both for an exclusive edition and especially given the 70th anniversary of the Bundeswehr, which this kit is also promoting… but that's only my opinion. If you're fine with it then it's good.
I'll probably decide during the build whether I'll use all these parts or maybe source some aftermarket solutions, idk for now, but I'll keep you updated on this.
