This is a kit prototype in 3D with heavy print level gaps and much warped parts as banana torpedoes, which where G7a/G7e hybrids with wrong fins for a G7a (photo evidence: which, with 6 blade props was attached 2x to a sled). Maybe this was a "Frankenstein" dummy version only for propaganda pics. The rings were missing, so i made some from a edding marker body in alu. So there was a lot to remedy. This is why i will build only real plastic kits in the future, as i did in the 1970s. Back to the roots!!

Polished propaganda but last gasp, "Frankenstein" dummy torpedoes, nicely polished pose for the pic. Late G7e TIII warhead for Kleinkampfboote with early G7a populsion unit with short fins and rudders behind propellers

Great to see one of these being built. Schatton modellbau makes nice and unusual subjects, but the quality of the kits isn't too good. I have almost completely rebuilt the Delphin kit, as it was very poor. I can imagine the work and effort you have put in to this!
I have a slitten in my stash in 72nd scale which looks rather good, and as your model turned out great, and I feel inspired to start on mine now 🙂

Thanks, mates!
To Jan: I ve built the 72er kit also, a little bit asymmetric but with the wonderful milled metal G7e torpedoes. was real fun, i made a little different equipped prototype with motor bay hood securing belt and spray guards
