Album info

The first T-90S MBT was delivered to India in January 2004. The locally assembled tanks were christened 'Bhishma'. The first ten Bhishma tanks were inducted into the Indian Army in August 2009. In November 2006, India ordered another 330 T-90 tanks, which were license-built by heavy vehicle factory (HVF), Avadi, Tamil Nadu.

The Indian Army currently operates 1,100 T-90S MBTs, of which 300 were directly procured from Russia.

Zvezda 1/35 scale Kit No. 3573; T-90 Russian Main Battle Tank. Kit contains 458 parts (435 in grey styrene, 20 clear styrene, 2 sections of nylon screen, 1 length nylon string). The kit consists of 7 sprues of injection plastic (6 in a light gray colored, soft plastic, a 7th in clear), plus a sheet of decals, a piece of string from which to fashion tow cables, and two sections of nylon mesh for the various engine screens.
