I wish I could place this huge model at home. I am curious to see how it goes. nice launch technician, he seems quite un-interested, but I am sure it will be a great toy form him 😉

Looks nice
What color(s) did you use and how did you make that glossy finish?

Great! I built the Revell kit at 1:96 scale, and it's very large. At 1:72 scale, it must be truly impressive. I'm now in the process of building the Ariane 5 in the same scale.

I also have this kit in my stash waiting for me to get the courage to begin it. Watching with interest and cheering from the sidelines.

You wouldn't happen to have a photo of the Real Space engines before you painted them do you? I've been thinking of getting them for quite a while now and was wondering what they look like out of the box.

What a monster. I definitely would get some serious side eye from my wife if something like this appeared in our house...

Fantastic - I love the comment " "Couch Scale Modeler" (i.e. If it looks good from my couch, I am happy with it) "" That's me too. I'll leave the super details and historical correctness to others.
I'm surprised that you don't have it behind some kind of plexi glass or other protection, given you have a cat. There are 5 cats in this house and a model like that would be on the floor in no time.
Again, fantastic job. I too remember the flights of this giants. Well done.
