Tiger Ⅰ early production (Tamiya 1:48)

 

I arranged the luggage for Tamiya's 1/48 scale Tiger early production model, Eastern Front version.
I made the ladder, muzzle cover, blanket, and wooden box myself. The logs, drums, buckets, etc. were adapted from accessories from the same Tamiya’s series. And I loaded sandbags, although I'm not sure if they are accurate. 

I attach as much of the luggage as possible to the vehicle body and paint them as these groups. 

 

The general basic painting is complete. The luggage has also been primed. It's fun to add accent colors with the luggage and bring out the texture of cloth and wood. I've used Tamiya acrylics up to this point. All that's left now is to carefully finish it off with enamel and oil paints. 

Pin-wash was done with Tamiya panel-line accent color and shadows were sprayed with airbrush using the same color. Then OVMs were painted: for the wood grain of the tool handle, I painted the base coat with Tamiya acrylic wood deck color, then finished it with oil paint. 

Some pieces of luggage were painted. I used Mr. weathering colors to recreate the wood grain on the wooden box and ladder. They no longer look like plastic.
I used Tamiya’s chipping requid to create peeling on the jerry cans, drums, and buckets.
The great thing about both is that they're easy to make.
