Also welcome Marlin and Mittelfrranke🙂 Indeed two fantastic kits, but with different level of detail in some areas. As you can see in the pics. The rudder by tamiya is a bit overdone but the surface detail is a bit more crisp and sharper.
The Tamiya Cockpit is also a bit more sharper in detail.

Is the difference in length and shape correct for the difference between the Type 11 and Type 21?

In, I'm with Desert Marlin, is that the reason, shape and length on the differing types 🤔

Hi Mates, and welcome to Volker, Mark, David and HJ. Thanks for showing up mates.
@Mark and Marlin I guess this is a kind of a optical illusion because ot the perspective. The only differences between the Typ 11 and Typ2 21 are the 20mm Cannons
in the wings with the later version. But you are also right because even in natura the FM Zero seems slightly more petite overall.

The pre-shading in image 11 is still very prominent for my taste? Since the insignia is already on, should it stay that way? 🤔

Is the verdict that de FM is a bit more refined than the Tamiya? 🤔

The Tamiya one also turned out nice! 👍🏻

I really like these two kits! BTW, when I was on Guam, this is what the jungle;e looked like. About 10 feet (2M) into the trees and you really didn't know what was there!

Hi MAtes, many thanks for your nice and encouraging words. Very much appreciated.
@Guido The FM seems to be a little bit more decent yes, but the Tamyia has the finer surface Details and you can do it with open canopy.
