Benjamin Röcker Author@guido ah ok, so I'll explain it to your here, no problem. You need to thin the paint heavily, my best result was a mixture of approx. 1:10 paint:thinner ratio and applying it in several light coats with low pressure on the airbrush. I recommend to make tests on a test piece to set up the conditions you prefer not to ruin your worthy build. I hope this helps 😊👍🏻

Many years ago, i did smaller parts with Alclad chrome, but discovered a few weeks ago that bottle had turned bad. But it was the same approach. Perfect base coat and then very thin layers with low pressure. 😉
I'm still looking as the SM range is not so easily available. But no rush, next few projects don't require it. 😆
